- Eligibility
- Partner organizations can be for-profit corporations, not-for-profit corporations, hospitals, municipalities, or Indigenous governments in Canada; for-profit partners must provide private-sector funds. Interns must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, international students with a student visa, or international postdoctoral fellows with a valid work permit, aged 18 or over, and be registered students or postdoctoral fellows (or recent graduates within two years of graduation) at Mitacs partner colleges and universities in Canada. Academic supervisors must be faculty at a Canadian academic institution eligible to hold Tri-Agency funds.
